You wrote that a policeman lost his hat in the scuffle. That's not
correct. The policeman actually tried to put his hat on LHO's head. FBI
Agent Robert Odum who was at the scene of the arrest told me that it was a
tradition to put a policeman's hat on a man suspected of killing a
policeman.
